Argentina has become a major touristic destination for Canadians. The devalued Peso, has forced Air Canada to increase its flight to Buenos Aires to serve a constantly growing demand. The Argentinian Consulate in Toronto will present a documentary on Tourism in Argentina and will answer any questions you may have regarding traveling to this fascinating destination. CINE PARA CONVERSAR - Film Viewing and Discussion - Free for members

Join us once a month to watch some fantastic Spanish language movies. Free for members of the Centre. Registration is required.

Studying a foreign language does not only consist of knowing grammar and vocabulary. At the Spanish Centre we consider the exposure to the richness of our Hispanic cultures crucial and films are an ideal tool to acquire a deep understanding of our Spanish speaking world.

CHARLEMOS - Free for current students
Every Friday - Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Classes are free for students currently taking a Spanish program or $15 on a drop-in basis. Students are divided into 2 levels according to their proficiency and encouraged to discuss current events in Spanish. The series is suitable for any student from our Intermediate Level 2 and up courses.

LEAMOS - Free for members
New groups starts:Tuesday April 9, 2013
Time: 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Enhance your Spanish language comprehension while exploring the richness of Latin American and Spanish writers. Hosted by Simon, a renown Cuban actor. New group Starts Tuesday April 9 and will be held on Tuesdays from 5 to 6 pm. This is a free program for Spanish Centre students only and a book purchase is required.
