All courses are designed to provide students with the opportunity to combine the study of the Spanish language with lessons in their chosen activity.

CINE PARA CONVERSAR - Film Viewing and Discussion

Studying a foreign language does not only consist of knowing grammar and vocabulary. At the Spanish Centre we consider the exposure to the richness of our Hispanic cultures crucial and films are an ideal tool to acquire a deep understanding of our Spanish speaking world. Join us once a month starting on Thursday January 24 at 7:30 pm to watch some fantastic Spanish language movies . Free for members of the Centre - Registration is required. Please note that all films have English subtitles but the 1/2 hour discussion after the film will be conducted in Spanish.

New Leamos Group starts on Tuesday April 9!

Date: Tuesday April 9, 2013
Time: 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Enhance your Spanish language comprehension while exploring the richness of Latin American and Spanish writers. Hosted by Simon, a renown Cuban actor. New group Starts Tuesday April 9 and will be held on Tuesdays from 5 to 6 pm. This is a free program for Spanish Centre students only and a book purchase is required.

We are offering drop-in Charlemos classes starting January 25th, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm,

for High-Intermediate and Advanced level speaking speakers.

Free for students enrolled in September courses, $15 for non-students.
